BA and Iberia merge – ‘International Airlines Group’

British Airways and Spanish airline Iberia have signed a merger agreement – creating a new company, International Airlines Group.
Both of the One World Alliance partners will retain their operations and brands.
The merger is expected to be completed late this year.
